Dr Mills graduated from University of Otago (NZ) in 1982. He has fellowships of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Australasian College of Aerospace Medicine, and Occupational and Environmental Medicine (Royal Australasian College of Physicians). His areas of special interest include Musculo-skeletal medicine (knees, backs, shoulders and upper limbs), occupational medicine, ergonomics, return to work after injury, and wellness assessments. Dr Mills is a CASA DAME and a Medical Review Officer.

Dr Mills strives to maintain a healthy life work balance. Enjoying swimming, running, music and spending time with his family and dogs.

Helensburgh Respiratory Clinic

(Covid-19 Testing Clinic)

Our respiratory clinic has been established in partnership with the Australian Government Department of Health to provide free short-term care of respiratory illnesses. Clinic is located at the back of our General Practice to provide the safest environment for assessment, treatment and covid-19 testing. For more information on our new testing clinic for COVID-19, please click HERE.

The purpose of the respiratory clinic is to assess, test and diagnose mild-to-moderate respiratory conditions, including COVID-19, influenza and pneumonia. Clinic bookings are ONLY for symptomatic patients.

NSW Health have requested that anyone who is unwell or has even mild flu-like symptoms, to arrange to be tested.

Phone Consultation (Telehealth) is now available

 

The Telehealth service is phone based. That means no special software or internet connection is required.

This service is suitable for any consultation where a physical examination may not be necessary. Examples include minor respiratory or urinary tract infections, repeat prescriptions.

Patients that fit the following criteria will be eligible to be bulk-billed for their Phone or Telehealth consult:

(1) Commonwealth concession card holders (Patient needs to send copy of the card via email)
(2) Children under 16 years of age (Patient needs to send copy of the card via email)
(3) A person who:

* is required to self-isolate or self-quarantine in accordance with guidance issued by the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee in relation to COVID-19; or
* if the person identifies as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent-is at least 50 years old; or
* is pregnant; or
* is the parent of a child aged under 12 months; or
* meets the current national triage protocol criteria for suspected COVID-19 infection.

​If you don't fulfill the criteria we may request a payment after the consult. Your Medicare Rebate will be reimbursed to your bank account within 48 hours after payment.

Meet Our Doctors

Dr Martin Gellatley

Dr Gellatley is the founding member of this practice, which began in 1982. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1978 and has a wealth of experience in primary health care and emergency medicines.

Dr Meng Chen

Dr Chen graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986 and obtained a fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 1994. He continues to work in both general practice and in accident and emergency and has a keen interest in musculo-skeletal medicine and sports medicine.

Dr Cindy Htet

Dr Htet graduated with an M B B S in 2005 and has wealth of experience in family medicine, both in Australia and Overseas. She received a fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2015 and has a keen interest in skin cancer, women's health and cosmetic procedures and has achieved post graduate qualifications in these areas.
